My story

My interest in nutrition began when my father was first diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

My mum, my sister and I knew what it meant ... Despite this hopeless prognosis, I began my

research into his condition and was determined to find ways to improve his health. The more

I read the more I learnt about nutrition and its impact on our health and wellbeing. I discovered Functional

Medicine and its unconventional approach to healing. 'Food as Medicine'? Yes. I ensured that my dad ate food rich

in nutrients to give him strength that he so badly needed during the last year of his life.

My dad's illness and death commenced my own journey into living a healthier life. As they say: 'good things come out of bad situations'. At the time, I had high cholesterol, psoriasis (like my dad), joint pain in my hands and shoulder. Throughout my life,

I suffered with hormonal issues, anxiety and hardly ever slept well (just like my mum). I had often heard that my symptoms were genetic or age related and I was destined to take medication and live with it. So I did, but I don’t easily give up and my curiosity to healing with nutrition was there to stay. I decided to take control over my own health.

I have gained a lot of knowledge and deep understanding of how the body systems interconnect and affect one another, and  I am a pure example of getting my health and wellbeing back on track with the power of functional nutrition and holistic approach to healing. I feel better now than I did 5 or 10 years ago, and I take NO medication (with long lists of side effects)!

I am here to help you start transforming your life into a healthy one.
So, if you or someone you know suffers from any health physical or mental symptoms … or if you would like to know more about what functional nutrition can do for you and your wellbeing, I invite you to contact me.
